1)  First and foremost, our OPEN DOOR POLICY. That means parents are welcome to stay with their child during their visits. We know that different children have different needs, and we allow the parent to decide if they want to accompany their child or not. For those that feel the need, we often find that parental presence can have a calming effect on both the patient and the parent. We work hard to form wonderful initial dental experiences for all our patients, and our Open Door Policy is a large part of that.

2)  Dr. Lide sees every patient. Our more modest staff size and single dentist assures your child of more consistent care and greater continuity as they mature. Again, our goal of forming positive dental experiences that last a lifetime guide us to provide more personalized attention. This care will help make your child more comfortable with dental care throughout their life.

3)  Every team member at Dr. Lide’s office is a MOTHER. We all relate to your child with kindness and understanding because we all have the experience of having children ourselves.

What makes Dr. Lide special?

Dr. Lide is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist. This means Dr. Lide has successfully completed special training and has been tested to certify she qualifies for the high standards set by the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Lide’s father is a Pediatric Dentist! After graduating in 1998, she worked with her father for three years before starting to practice in Frisco. She feels very fortunate to be able to not only share her profession with her father and continue the decades of family tradition, but to be able to draw upon decades of practical experience in Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Lide has been recognized by D Magazine as the “Best Dentist In Dallas” and by Texas Monthly as a “Texas Super Dentist.” Not only is Dr. Lide specially trained to provide the best care for your child, she is further recognized by her peers as one of the best in the DFW area for doing so.
